What if you could forget the fast paced changing world around you for some time and would manage to open up new sensory pathways?
Imagine, it will bring you ultimately more joy in life.
That's how I've experienced ever since I started with this practice with many of my fellow sensory tea tasters. We learnt it from a forager (an expert in edible wild plants) who's journey took him to a Tibetian monastery before he would come out to teach us. And now I feel I ought to make it available to you, here in Belgium.
It's a mindful practice in a pieceful room permeated by the peace of the Tibetan mind.
You create a strong connection with your body in a new way, that will eventually open up up-to-then unknown sensory pathways. This will offer you a new approach to looking after yourself, especially if you struggle with stress and anxiety. And frankly, who doesn't feel the burden of stress these days? We all need a new treat, and we can't all spend months in monasteries faraway.
This ceremony teaches embodied sensory connection practices to cultivate a deep sense of inner peace, serenity and wellbeing, no matter what life throws your way.
The session we start with gentle, mindful body movements, that we will continue with a unique, so called organoleptic tea tasting ceremony. You wont receive black tea, or anything processed and packed in who-knows-what-it's-made-of teabags. It will be all handpicked, permeated with natural scents and tastes.
If you'd like to know more about it, feel free to send me your questions: kata@endo-gym.com. If you've ever tried, please share your thoughts.
If you want to come and try, wear comfy clothes, and bring a pillow or two to sit at your ease, now on the 2nd of June in Overijse.
(The session is €10 for Hormon Clubbers, and €35 for others. )
You will need yoga mat, comfy clothes, a pillow and 3 colour pens of your favorite colours.
